Westbrook Academy won the regional championship. By morning, the trophy was gone.

An empty case. A locked display room. Six people with reasons to be there the night before — and a story none of them tell the same way twice.

How it plays

  1. 1. Pick names for each character. Phone gets passed in that order.
  2. 2. Each scene opens with a shared setup. Then the phone goes around.
  3. 3. When everyone has read their card, you discuss together at the table.
  4. 4. After the final scene, the phone reveals the truth.

No timers. Move at your own pace. The card only leaves your hands when you choose.

    The captain who lifted the trophy on Friday night. Quiet at the celebration. Quieter this morning.

  • Devon Park

    Star Forward

    Scored the winning point. Maya's rival on paper, their oldest friend everywhere else.

  • Coach Rivera

    Head Coach

    Twenty-three years at Westbrook. The first to arrive, the last to leave. Always.

  • Headmistress Whitfield

    Principal

    She called the all-school assembly for 10am. The empty case is now her problem.

  • Jordan Ellis

    Optional · Night Custodian

    Works the 10pm–6am shift. Knows which doors squeak and which lockers stick. (Optional role)

  • Sam Okafor

    Optional · Student Reporter

    Editor of the school paper. Was filming b-roll in the trophy hall after the game. (Optional role)
